I promise this won't be a sob fest..
The one thing about LeBron James on an every game basis is that he never cheats the fans, his teammates or himself in any game that he plays. The last two and a half games of his 2009-2010 season he cheated everyone like Tiger Woods at a Hooters restaurant. Every night LeBron gives everything he's got and has nothing to be ashamed about at the end.
This is why I am so completely lost with these last couple games. In game 5 it was like he seriously wasn't trying whatsoever in the biggest game of his life. Something was in his head; I'm not blaming the elbow, I'm not blaming Mike Brown, I'm not blaming anyone but LeBron himself.
IT'S JUST STRANGE!!!!!!!
We're talking about a dude that has everything a superstar would want BUT an NBA title. And in the defining moments of achieving that goal he seemingly gives up on his team, his home state and most importantly of course..me.
I simply don't get it. LeBron's proved that he's clutch before and it's not a matter of him not being able to step up. I need some answers.
Life goes on.....
He's certainly got a big decision to make this summer. I've thought all along that he would stay in Cleveland but with his lackluster effort in the last couple games he might be easing his way out of town. I will predict that he does stay in Cleveland. Unfortunately if you've read any of my other NBA posts, you'll see that I couldn't predict my way out of a paper bag of late with anything having to do with the NBA. He wants to bring the city a championship and I like to believe he's not a big enough chump to bounce out of impatience.
ALSO, I firmly believe that both conference finals are going to be great matchups.
I like the Magic in six over Boston and the Lakers in 7 over Phoenix.
I'm a patient dude and no matter where LeBron goes I will support him because I think it's a great story and he's an extremely unique player with an even more unique skill set. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST 48 HOURS!
